To ensure appropriate and challenging subject related skills and knowledge are covered in accordance with the national curriculum, subject leads oversee the delivery of schemes of work for their subject. To ensure a broad and balanced curriculum, class teachers plan lessons in accordance to the current needs of their class relating to these schemes of work.
