We have over 200 children on the school roll. The school is small enough for each child to be known well by everyone, yet large enough to provide a wide range of educational experiences.

The children of Ickleford Primary school amazed parents, guardians and friends with their magnificent production of "Alice in Wonderland".
Well done to all the children who took part in this year’s Olympic and Paralympic event.
It was a wonderful day and all those who competed did so in the spirit of the Olympics, with friendship, excellence and respect, and of course a great big smile!
Ickleford entered teams in the netball, handball, wheelchair basketball and the sitting volleyball competitions. All the teams competed magnificently and did themselves and the school proud.
There was also a design and create element again this year, with two children from each school given the chance to design and make their own London 2012 t-shirt.
Once again this year the closing ceremony included a dance number that was choreographed during the day and included two children from each school.
Thank you again to all the children and congratulations to our medal winners.
The year 5 children had a lovely day at Whipsnade Zoo. The weather was great and all the animals came out to see them.
The Year 1 children had a lovely day visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum.
Year 3 children have been learning to play the cello this year and parents were invited into school to hear them perform. They made a wonderful rich sound and their parents were very appreciative.
Ickleford School Sports Day was a fantastic day, the sun shone but not too brightly to be overly hot. The children all gathered on the playing field and competed well in each of their chosen events, and the parents, carers and friends shouted loudly.
Year 2 spent the day at Whipsnade Zoo. The weather was kind and all the animals came out to see them. First stop was the Lemur enclosure, and then came the Giraffes, Elephants, Lions and Birds of the World display. We were treated to a spectacular display by the Sealions and got a little wet! Thank you to all the adults who came with us.
