What an amazing day we had. All the children in the school and adults dressed up in their favourite book characters and they all looked fantastic.
Well done to all the boys who played in the Hitchin and District Wix Cup Final on Tuesday 4th March 2014. It was a fantastic match with Ickleford running out 1 - 0 winners against Whitehill School.
This now means Ickleford will represent the Hitchin and District Schools at this years' Wix Cup County Tournament.
All of the boy's should be proud of themselves; they played with a great togetherness, team spirit and competed in the right sporting manner.
Year 3 have been studying the Egyptians in history this term. A visitor from the Hitchin Museum came and spent some time talking to the children about the Egyptians and how they mummified the bodies of the Kings and Queens. They then visited the British Museum to look at all the artefacts. They had a wonderful day.
The children of Ickleford Primary school amazed parents, guardians and friends with their magnificent production of "Wind in the Willows".
The reception class had a lovely day visiting St Albans Cathedral. They had a tour of the building learning all about its different areas. They looked at the stained glass windows and tried to create their own.
On Wednesday 13th November Year 4 travelled to the Unicorn Theatre in London to watch a play based on Shakespeare’s Henry V.
